Did you know?
The Trinity Preschool is enriching the lives of 60 children this year. Enrollment for the 2008-2009 school year is currently open to all.

Class sessions are:
MWF for children 4 years by Sept 1 with times from 9:00 to 11:30 or 12:30 to 3:00
Tues/Thurs for children 3 years by Sept. 1 from 9:00 to 11:30.
Enrichment Program* T-Th 12:30 - 3:00 with Lunch Bunch from 11:30 - 12:30
*children must be enrolled at Trinity Preschool to attend the Enrichment Classes.


Our teachers: Pam Bell (full time); Jennifer Keller (T-Th); Juli Belk (MWF); Rhonda Nesselrode (T-Th)

Lead teachers have degrees in Early Childhood Education. All staff participate in extensive curriculum training.

A time for Toddlers to play, sing, laugh, read, and get messy! Class is open to children approx. 24 mths. and up. Children must attend with a parent, grandparent, or caregiver. Infant siblings welcome to come along at no charge.
Where? Trinity Lutheran Church West Campus, Family Center Building.
When?
Tuesday mornings, 9:15 – 10:05 a.m. OR 10:30-11:20 a.m.
Wednesday mornings, 9:15 – 10:05 a.m.
Dates? Class Begins September 16-17 and meets for 12 sessions.
Cost?
$60.00 for families currently enrolled at Trinity Preschool
$70.00 for all others
Covers all supplies and is paid at time of enrollment.

Mission Statement
Trinity Lutheran Church Preschool supports the family by nurturing the growth of young children through developmentally appropriate experiences in a Christian environment.

Curriculum

• Teachers at Trinity engage children in theme-based topics related to the childrens’ interest. The research-based Project Construct curriculum allows children to explore God’s world through hands-on educational experiences. Teachers foster the development of faith, creativity and self-confidence as well as promote independence and the development of skills preparing children for Kindergarten.
• Teachers track childrens’ progress with a collection of your child’s work throughout the year and the use of a developmental checklist. Regular communication between teacher and parent helps ensure your child success. Formal parent-teacher conferences are held in mid-winter.

Staff
All staff receive training in the field of early childhood education and regularly attend workshops and conferences to further growth. Teachers hold Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in the field of education.

Parental Involvement
Parent Involvement is encouraged and welcome within the classroom. We look forward to parents sharing talents and job skills with the children. Parents are also welcome to be a part of the worship, the last 10 minutes of every class day.
