Messenger Newsletter
The Messenger
is Trinity's printed newsletter, published weekly with the exceptions of the
week of 4th of July, and the week after Christmas.
To submit information
for publication, send your submission via e-mail,
being sure that it arrives by 8:00 a.m. Monday on the week of publication. Remember
to include the following: WHO is hosting the event (individual,
group, etc. plus contact phone numbers) WHAT is the event (why
is it being held, is there a cost involved, registration deadline, etc.) WHEN & WHERE is
the event (East Campus, West Campus or both, someone’s
home, a park, meeting facility, etc.) If you don’t know these details,
then please wait until you have them finalized before you submit information
for publication. Messenger items are intended for the entire church
family, so they must be clear and concise in their descriptions to convey their
intent to the church family audience.
Help Wanted
1-2 people needed to sort and send Messenger on Tuesday mornings.
No experience needed. Contact Paulette at 913.888.5141. We laugh and form great
friendships while doing ministry. No pay, lots of fun!
Do you receive
the Messenger by email? How about giving it a try! If you are
not already receiving the weekly newsletter electronically, feel free to send
Tony Whitter your email and he’ll put you on the email newsletter send
list. You’ll get the Messenger faster than regular mail (usually
by Tuesday), you’ll save paper, you’ll help Trinity save on postage
costs and there’s nothing to throw away! Print out the entire newsletter,
read it online or just print out the page that interests you most. It’s
a free service, so send Tony an e-mail and
let us add you to the electronic list. Also, if you are not sure your mailing
address, email, phone numbers, etc. are correct in the Trinity database, please
let Tony know your correct information about these items as well.
To read the Messenger
online or to read the archives, you will need the free Adobe Reader
software installed. If you do not already have it, download it here.
NOTE:
These files are quite large, particularly on a dial-up connection. Please be
patient as they load into your browser window if you are on a slow connection.
If you experience difficulties, contact the web
lackey.
