Metro Lutheran MinistryMetro Lutheran Ministry (MLM) provides critical help to the poorest of the poor in metropolitan Kansas City, providing food and shelter to those in need.
Throughout its history, MLM has been one of Kansas City's pioneering social service agencies, organizing innovative and effective social service and emergency assistance programs to meet the needs of the poorest of the poor.
MLM serves people throughout Greater Kansas City with locations in Jackson, Wyandotte and Clay counties.

Urban Scholastic Center
The Urban Scholastic Center is on a mission to develop socially responsible Christian leaders. We model and teach urban youth to become dedicated followers of Jesus Christ while placing a high priority on education, family and community. USC works with Mark Twain Elementary and Wyandotte High School in KC, KS.
How can you serve?
Become a mentor to children in need. It’s pretty simple - you read to a child, and provide a positive influence in their lives.

Hillcrest Transitional Housing
Trinity Sponsors Hillcrest Apartment
Thanks to a Trinity Foundation grant, Trinity is a full apartment sponsor for one of the units at 843 Barnett in KC, KS.
Hillcrest’s mission is to provide a Christian environment that helps homeless families become self-supportive, self-reliant contributors to society. Transitional Housing's primary program focus is moving families from homelessness to self-sufficiency within 90 days. During this time, Hillcrest helps a family find work, transportation and provides occupational training (e.g. personal budget) as needed in the move to self-sufficiency.
