50 Plus The “Fifty Plus” group is one of the largest and most active groups at Trinity. This group meets for a Bible class every Wednesday at 10:15 AM at the Mission Campus. The 50 Plus group also plans special trips and other social events. All those 50 and over and their guests from both campuses are always welcome to attend and participate in 50 Plus activities. Gen-Xers The Gen-Xers is composed of young adults in their 20s and 30s, single and married. Members from both campuses are invited to attend events and friends are always welcome. For other events, the Gen-Xers send out E-vites. If you would like to be added to the E-vite mailing list, contact Tim Blake.
Knitters The knitters meet every Tuesday at 1:00 PM at the Mission Campus in B-4. Come join us!
Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) LWML circles provide a way for women of all ages to gather in fellowship, prayer, spiritual growth, missions and service. The circles generally meet once a month. Twice a year (fall and spring), seasonal assemblies are held. Although circles meet at the Mission location, women from both campuses are invited to participate. Contact Marie McDermed for more information.
Quilters Trinity's Quilters meet the first and fourth Tuesdays of each month in the Parish Hall at the Mission Campus from 9:30 AM to “whenever.” This is one of Trinity's longest-running small groups. They make quilts, quilts, and more quilts and donate them to Lutheran World Relief and the MLM Christmas Store. Senior Singles Adult Ministry The Senior Singles meet for potluck dinner on the second Sunday of the month at 12:00 PM in the Kitchen Annex at the Mission Campus.
Single Adult Ministry (SAM) The SAM group ministers to singles approximately 40-55 years old. They usually meet the second Monday for dinner out in the community. For info on their next dinner, contact Annette Kramer.
SHAWNEE CAMPUS
Empty Nesters Are you an "empty nester" (or wish you were)? Then join our group at the Shawnee Campus for monthly themed potlucks. Each time we get together we have a blast and find some way to serve others! Contact Gloria Garrelts for more information.
BOTH CAMPUSES
Welcoming Group Join the team that helps coordinate welcoming, connections and outreach efforts at Trinity! Assist with advertising/PR, help plan community outreach efforts and equip others to share their faith! Join us on "Second Saturdays" 8:00-9:00pm. Panera’s 87th & Lackman. Women's Book Clubs There are currently a number of book clubs meeting at Trinity. There are book clubs that meet during the day, in the evenings and on Sunday mornings during the Sunday School hour. For more information about these book clubs, refer to the Adult Groups & Classes page.
