Dear Trinity Families,

Here comes SUMMER and we're very excited about some of our community building and faith forming experiences we're hosting!

Here's the rhythm: First of all, just about all of our events are on Sunday evenings. We're going to alternate weeks, using the 2nd and 4th week of each month for Sr. High Youth Experiences. The 2nd week of each month is going to be a Bible Study, prayer time, and hangout as a group. The 4th week is an adventure of some kind. Also catch that we're going to have both campuses of Sr. High youth together for all of these events, and we're going to switch campuses each month. You'll see the rhythm below.

On Bible Study / Prayer / Hangout evenings, we'll be studying the book of Ephesians together -- a book about being called to a Christian life of hope and ministry. On Sunday mornings, there will be conversations about various faith topics during the Sunday School hour.

For all of these details, more events will be sent out when the events get a little closer. This includes opportunities for parents and others in our congregation to be with the youth on some of these adventures. We'll definitely need some drivers throughout the summer -- or a really large bus. :-) I'll send out invitations to serve for these events when I send out the more detailed info about the events themselves.

Something additional to be excited about is that we're going to have a DCE Intern joining us in our ministries sometime this summer, hopefully June! His name is Brian and I'll send more info out about him soon.

Finally, this calendar is a skeleton of the summer ministry and we'll probably add a few things as the summer develops. We'll keep you posted!

We ask all kinds of people if they'll trade something cool for something not-so-cool that we have in our hands or car. The goal: trade up and get something awesome!
