Caring Ministries
Stephen Ministry
Trinity is a Stephen Ministry congregation. We have a corps of lay people who have been trained to provide quality Christian care on a one-on-one basis for those who are experiencing some crisis in their lives, e.g. death of a loved one, illness, material problems, parenting problems, job loss, etc. Stephen Ministry is strictly confidential. Consider allowing a Stephen Minister to walk with you on your journey towards wholeness. Contact Pastor Boehnke for more information.
Prayer Ministry
Members of Trinity gather each day of the week in our prayer chapel to pray for the needs of our congregation, community, and the world. Lavendar prayer request cards are located outside of the prayer chapel and in the pew racks in sanctuary. Fill one out and drop it into the box outside of the prayer chapel. Or submit a prayer request online.
Health Ministry
Having a healthy body and spirit are important and Trinity offers assistance in these areas. Blood Pressure checks are available at Trinity East on the second Sunday of the month, and at Trinity West on the third Sunday of the month. CPR classes, Life Screening, and other health training and seminars are offered throughout the year. Contact Julie Clobes for more information.
Care Pan Ministry
Take home an empty care pan and return it to the church with an easy meal and preparation instructions. Then the meal will be delivered to a shut-in or someone who is going through a difficult time. Contact Gloria Garrelts for more information. Try these easy Care Pan recipes.
Shut-in Ministry
Each week we send resources to our shut-ins to encourage them and help them continue to grow spiritually. We include a weekly devotion, a worship bulletin and an audio CD of worship. Trinity also sends someone to serve communion to the shut-ins on a regular basis. If you have questions about the shut-in ministry, or would like to be added to the shut-in distribution list, please contact Gretchen Hollman or call the church office at 913-432-5441.
